Age-related changes, sun exposure and weight loss can cause the face to appear tired or angry due to extra skin and soft tissue around the eyes.

Dr. Jacoby can perform corrective surgery to remove the extra skin and fatty tissue around your eyes. The well-concealed incisions are virtually imperceptible within 6-8 weeks of surgery. Bruising will be visible for 4-7 days and can generally be concealed with make-up or sun glasses.

This procedure can be performed using local anaesthetic or a short general anaesthetic as day surgery at Kamloops Surgical Centre. Recovery is typically very rapid with anticipated return to social activities within 1-2 days and return to most types of work within 7 days.
