Prominent ears can affect some people’s confidence and therefore limit daily activities.

Through a well-concealed incision behind the ear, ears can be reshaped by folding the ear cartilage along a natural line. Visible ear discoloration can be present for up to 7 days following surgery.

The procedure requires a short general anaesthetic and can be performed as day surgery at the Kamloops Surgical Centre. Recovery is typically very rapid with anticipated return to social activities within 1-2 days and to most types of work within 4-7 days.
